Reverse Osmosis Systems

For those of you with "bad" water there is a simple and reasonably inexpensive solution: a small reverse osmosis system. You plumb this straight into your tap water supply line and.....presto, happy plants.

People on wells in particular can have excess minerals which can cause problems with any kind of gardening. Calcium, magnesium, and iron are the most common culprits. These upset the nutrient ratios of any fertilizer you give your plants, soil or otherwise. An R/O system takes these out and resets your "water clock" to near zero.
