This portable meter uses the 4-in-1 replaceable probe HI 9811-5, which measures pH/EC/TDS and Temperature. Included, not shown.

HI 9811-5 is equipped with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC). The Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) alerts the user when low batteries could adversely affect your readings.

The EC range goes to 6000 uS/cm. In the TDS range the HI-9811-5 uses a conversion factor from 0.56 to 0.72 for fertilizer readings, to ensure your measurements fully conform to industry standards.

The specially engineered HI 1285-5 probe is interchangeable and the pH electrode utilizes a fiber junction and gel electrolyte which are particularly suitable when used in fertilizer solutions.
