Texas Tomato Food BioActive is a low-nitrogen, production tomato fertilizer that doubles as a large vegetable fertilizer as well. Tomatoes and other large vegetables want less nitrogen and more calcium, phosphorus, and potassium when in the fruiting stage. Too much nitrogen during fruiting means excess vegetative growth when vegetables are trying to mature.

We calculate, we blend, we lab analyze, we grow, we improve. That's what we do. We are a serious micro-brewer of nutrients, not re-packagers.

Bat guano base with a calculated blend of kelp, humic and fulvic acids, mycorrhizae, cottonseed meal, alfalfa meal, worm casts, enzymes, and other organic ingredients.

No ground up animal parts. Truth is, we don't use blood meal, bone meal, feather meal, etc because they are too slow to release and make poor teas. We use expensive bat guanos and our other ingredients because they give us the nutrient ratios we are looking for, along with up-front quick release and long-term slow release.

Be skeptical of advertised N-P-K percentages. They are frequently grossly exaggerated and misleading. For example: we have done side-by-side testing of nutrient strength with Urban Farm Fertilizers vs the bigger 20-20-20 names in the business. Tablespoon-for-tablespoon in a gallon of water, we are typically 10% stronger. We could put inflated numbers on our N-P-K, but we prefer to be accurate. True nutrient strength has much more to do with the quality and availability of the components used.
